The hockey team dropped another two in Maine last weekend despite playing well for stretches, and the basketball team got off to a hot start, winning close games against Boston University and Southern Illinois.

- Northeastern opens the season at Providence College, but will the team be overlooking the game before Saturday’s home opener vs. Boston College? Jared Shafran and Ben Horner discuss before heading down to Rhode Island.
- The Huskies may have dodged a bullet in their loss vs. Acadia – the Ax-Men accumulated 130 penalty minutes in a brawl-filled “game” at Maine the next night. We’ll assess the performance of NU’s freshmen plus give our thoughts on what to take away from last Saturday’s exhibition.
- We’ll interview women’s soccer head coach Tracy Leone, whose credentials impressed everyone upon her arrival. Now that she’s at the helm of the Huskies, we’ll talk about how the season is progressing, and the Huskies’ chances of a CAA championship.
- There’s a brand new six-pack of games and another chance for us to pick them dead-wrong. Nevertheless, we’ve got our roundup of national sports at the end of the show.
