RICHMOND, VA. — Another season, another agonizing defeat in the CAA Tournament. Anyone will tell you that this one hurt the most. In a nail-biting dramatic double-overtime quarterfinal, Northeastern came out on top of Hofstra to advance to the semifinals of the CAA Tournament. After Friday’s loss to Boston University, we’ve revised the possible finishing positions and available scenarios for the end of the year. Most of the same criteria for finishing positions are still available, but UMass’ victory over Maine Friday night puts Northeastern in a must-win situation Saturday night.
