QuickCast: Hockey at UMass
Today on the Dog Pound Sports Sound
Just because we’re traveling out to UMass for tonight’s game doesn’t mean you don’t get the standard Dog Pound calamity on Friday! Listen this afternoon for our always-impassioned thoughts on everything Huskies sports…
- Andrew Parente drops by the studio to talk Huskies basketball, specifically why this year’s team won’t have the drop off we’ve seen in the past.
- We argue (again?!?) about the leadership on the basketball team. Jared Shafran will try to reestablish his argument from last week’s show, but this time he’ll have to spar with host Keith Lavon.
- If you haven’t noticed, the Boston Herald has boycotted coverage of Northeastern athletics. Why did this happen, who’s to blame, and what are the continuing consequences?
- Plus, if you didn’t catch last night’s Hockey East This Week, we’ve got hockey talk coming at you as well.
It all starts at 3 p.m. on WRBB and streaming worldwide at WRBBSports.com!
Hockey East This Week 2/11/10
This week, we look at the turnaround for Huskies hockey, highlighted by the improved play by Chris Rawlings and the defense in front of him. The standings are tight 5th through 8th, and the league is still wide open. Plus, we’re pumped for Curling at the winter olympics!
