Downtime? Never…
Pardon us for the lack of updates, but the travel and lack of wireless internet in our immediate hotel has been a minor roadblock in reaching out to you, the readers. On our second full day here in Santa Clara, California, we got to take in a lot of basketball. First, a Huskies practice at the Leavey Center, home of the Santa Clara Broncos, and then we watched the local Golden State Warriors take down the powerhouse Boston Celtics. Don’t worry, we also were able to fit in tons of game prep for tomorrow night’s match up between the Huskies and the Broncos in the first round of the Cable Car Classic. The Huskies will be taking the court at 9 PM EST followed by the Kent St./Wofford match up immediately following. Northeastern will look to continue their winning ways coming off a victory in the 7th place game v. SMU in the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic where they shot 56% from the field and deployed some ferocious defensive tactics.
