And another tough loss for the Northeastern Husky basketball team. After an early wake up for the basketball team along with myself and Will we headed over to the stadium for our 10 a.m. (HST) tip against St. Mary’s. In what was another tough battle for the Huskies they could not get that one big stop or that one big play to get them over the hump to drop there record to 2-6.
Janning continues to improve his game on the inside and Adako had arguably his best game of the year but in the end it was not enough. The Huskies did not hit a 3 pt FG and the Gaels hit ten and that was it for the NU men’s team. Western Michigan is the next opponent for Bill Coens squad tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. HST and 3 pm back home in Boston. Myself and Will are continuing our coverage at 2:50 tomorrow and until then we will continue to enjoy the beautiful weather out here in Honolulu, Hawaii. Aloha means good-bye.

Aloha! Yes, it’s a tad cliche, but what else is there to say. Will and Jason here at the beautiful Waikiki Sheraton on Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii. We arrived late last night after an arduous 11 hour flight and after quickly checking out our surroundings, our hotel beds beckoned. It is about 8:40 A.M. Hawaii time and we are just getting set to head over to the Stan Sheriff Center for some early morning shoot around and practice. This will be the team’s first practice in Hawaii as they get set to take on the St. Mary’s Gaels in the first round of the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic. Make sure to tune in to WRBBSPORTS.com tomorrow at 3 P.M. ET to hear your Northeastern Huskies try and take down the high-scoring Gaels in what is sure to be an exciting matchup. Myself and Jason will be bringing you all the action live on the mic and with blog posts chronicling our days in the sun following the team. Some may even be accompanied with photo proof that, yes, we are in Hawaii.
Don’t forget to tune in tomorrow at 3 P.M. on your flagship station for Huskies Basketball, 104.9 WRBB and WRBBSPORTS.com

As a blizzard in southern New England finally starts to die down, Jason and Willie are on their way to Hawaii. Their flight was delayed, like many others, but shouldn’t encounter any further problems. Today is the first of a 17-day, four state journey criss-crossing the nation, and we’re proud to be able to bring it to you.
Jason or Willie will check in either late tonight or tomorrow, and will be writing most of these daily recaps in the coming days. Tomorrow is a day to catch up on some game prep and get acclimated to the area, and I’m sure they’ll have some great pictures from their beachfront location.
Tune in on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. to hear exclusive coverage of Northeastern basketball as the Huskies take on another tough opponent in St. Mary’s!
