Quailer Out Indefinitely

October 7th, 2009

Greg Cronin announced today that sophomore forward Steve Quailer will be out indefinitely for the 2009-2010 season. As WRBB Sports reported yesterday, Quailer suffered an ACL injury in the third period of the team’s exhibition game last Saturday against St. Thomas.

With the season opening Friday night, this is not the news that the Huskies were hoping for. Nevertheless, it looks like they will have to rely on the other guys to step it up this season.

Below is a piece of the Northeastern release.

“BOSTON - Northeastern men’s hockey coach Greg Cronin announced has that sophomore forward Steve Quailer will be out indefinitely for the 2009-10 season after suffering a lower body injury in the team’s exhibition contest against St. Thomas on Oct. 3, 2009.

Quailer endured the injury in the third period when a member of St. Thomas collided with him in Northeastern’s offensive zone.”
